
Needs covered by the applicationThe iAlert Guard application aims to organize to an ultimate extent the efforts of the companies for an accurate patrol-guarding program, and also for quality control and the 24-hour protection of the working staff. The user (guard or employee) can easily download the application on their smart phone and work according to the assigned patrol-work timetable, or freely register the work they will perform and the fields they will visit, while having with him, at the same time, the support of the 24-hour central station to take care of him.
Description of the application
Via iAlertGuard, clients, supervisors and management can always be aware of the location and status of the guards, while at the same time they can receive a real-time update whether a guard had passed from a specific assigned checkpoint or if they have sent an alarm signal ( Threat, Fire, Medical need) for a problem that has arisen. iAlertGuard can also make a direct call to the 24-hour Signal Reception Center for verbal communication.The application, relies on sensor and geolocation technologies of smart phones, as well as the general functions of the integrated technologies and sensors (photo, wifi, nfc), and is able to send to the Signal Reception Center or the supervisor, the following:

- User’s location in real time, on a geographical map, guarding point, type of work.
- Notification from the Signal Reception Center for a panic situation based on the command (alert) from the guard’s Smartphone. The center will receive the exact location on the map.
- Direct communication with the center and the supervisor, at the press of a button.
- 4.Notification to the Signal Reception Center in case of an emergency situation based on the sensors of the Smartphone which perceive the movement and state of the guard, such as fall, horizontal position, vehicle collision, etc.
- Notification to the supervisor in case of prolonged stop beyond a predetermined time.
- Tracking of route & patrol with real-time display on map.
- Supervisor notification in case of deviation from the specified route itinerary (visit sequence).
- Recognition of patrol-work crossing points by using TAG reader for QRcode or NFC technology.
- Taking and sending photos, when damage in the visited areas occure, with a pin to the exact location and real time appearence of the incident on a geographic map.
Purpose of the application
The iAlert Guard application runs on an Android environment for smartphones. It is designed to be used by the security personnel in real time, during the on-site performance of the work at the guarded facilities.
The messages are divided into the following groups.
• Emergency signals
• Signals for receipt & delivery of service (Attendance)
• Patrol Execution Signals
Each signal is accompanied by the accurate geographical location of the device carried by the security personnel, as well as the date and time of the transmission of each message.Emergency signals
• Request for help from the Police (personal threat)
• Request for medical assistance
• Request for Fire Service assistance
• Automatic call to Signal Reception Center operators or to supervisors
• Automatic “mandown” message transmission (activated automatically after the device falls)
Signals for receipt & delivery of service
• Use of each guard’s personal code (PIN) when receiving and delivering service
Patrol Execution Signals
• Decoding QR or NFC code signs installed throughout the patrol route and reading them according to the patrol plan, the predetermined order of visit, the specified arrival time and the specified geographic location.
• Taking a photo (accompanied by geo-location and time data), with which the guard can record damage and incidents during patrol.

Taking a photo of the service point and sending it in real time, combined with the its geographical location, gives precedence to the quality of the service provided. The security guard is able to record a situation encountered during his visit to the workplace and saves time in order to perform his work qualitatively.
